The Real Reason for Us
 
 
A few weeks ago we discussed the purpose of church and whether it is a club for God's favorite people or a body of his followers who are still seeking to grow the "Kingdom of Heaven.” This week we are going to carry it one step further. What is it that God wants from me? We sometimes come into a relationship with certain expectations. What are your expectations?
 
  1. If I follow Christ, in what way does my life change?
  2. If I am now a member of his church, what can I get from God now?
  3. I have heard of people hearing God's voice. Can I expect the same now?
  4. What happens if I fail God's purpose for me? Will he readjust, or will he look elsewhere?
