Back to Basics February 16
Now that brings us full circle.
This week we will be discussing God's Kingdom, and what his plans for us as a people are. I mean, if you are going to be a part of his "family," wouldn't it be nice to know what that family is like?
I'm sure, if you were at an orphanage waiting for a family to claim you, you might jump at any family that showed interest. However, all of us know of some family situations that are worse than even some orphanages. So before you say "sure," you may want to check out the family, the parenting, and of course, the siblings.
God never wants us to be uninformed or blindly saying yes to his call. That is the purpose of this week's discussion.

Questions:
1. What does Jesus mean when he said in Matthew "The Kingdom of Heaven is here now"?
2. Is joining Gods family like a club with certain benefits?
3. I've heard that once I'm "in" I'm always "in." What's with that? I want freedom.
4. Am I expected to look, act, and be different once I become a part of this "Kingdom?"
5. Where does it say we have to join or even be a member of some church?
I'm sure you have many more questions, and this should give you some things to ponder as you prepare for the class.
