Philippians: Stewardship of the Gospel

January 16, 2016

Sometimes people get possessive of truth. It’s sort of like when we hear good news; we want to gossip it out as quickly as possible so we get to be the town crier, the deliverer of the news. People can even get messed up sharing good news for bad or selfish reasons. Paul calls us both to our responsibility to share the Good News and to relax if someone isn’t sharing it the way we’d like, or with the motives we prefer. The primary responsibility of a steward of the Gospel is that it be shared, regardless of the motives or style of the one sharing it. Philippians 1:12-30.
